One More Mile

For life...every move we make…it’s just one more mile

Since child I’ve moved on…several times

At my birthplace I changed address for at least

Four…different spots…

I was teen we moved away from the Northeast to south

One more mile…

I turn to be a man in a big and nice city

Had my college and upper school education

Had a good job and started a family

It doesn’t matter about the love you have

Life takes us forward…one more mile

Away to a new life…to start it over
